Shipping Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026.

Panes ships windows, entry doors, sliding patio doors, sealed units, false windows, accessories, and related made-to-order building products throughout the continental United States and Canada.

Products Covered

This policy applies to custom windows, entry doors, sliding patio doors, bifold and aluminum door systems, insulated glass units, false windows, accessories, replacement parts, samples, and related products sold by Panes.

How Shipping Costs Are Calculated

Shipping costs are based on the largest product dimensions, total quantity, product weight and fragility, packaging or skid requirements, delivery location, and current carrier or route rates.

Remote And High-Cost Delivery Areas

Some delivery areas are unusually remote, restricted-access, or costly for carriers to service. Online checkout may show a base or estimated shipping rate that does not fully cover the actual freight cost for those locations. After an order is placed, Panes may review the delivery address, carrier options, and actual shipping cost before accepting the order for fulfillment.

If the actual shipping cost is materially higher than the rate charged at checkout, we may contact you to approve an additional shipping charge, arrange pickup or an alternate delivery option, or decline or cancel the order and refund any payment collected. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate the issue clearly and work with you on a practical solution before taking final action.

Delivery And Inspection

Large and glass-heavy products ship by freight carrier, dedicated route, or Panes-arranged truck. Deliveries are typically curbside. Inspect products and packaging before signing, note visible damage on the carrier receipt, photograph damage, and contact us within 48 hours.

Pickup Orders

For pickup orders, bring a suitable vehicle, straps, padding, and enough help to load and secure the products safely. Risk of loss transfers when the order is picked up or released to your carrier.

Address Changes And Delivery Issues

Contact us as soon as possible if a shipping address must change. Address corrections, failed delivery attempts, limited-access delivery, storage, redelivery, or carrier accessorial charges may change the final shipping cost.

See our Return Policy for damage and defect claim details.
