Online prices and U.S. East-zone shipping savings
U.S. East-zone online orders: 30% off shipping over $5,000; 50% off shipping over $10,000. A $149.95 skid/crate charge applies over $5,000.
USD product subtotal after discounts, before shipping, packaging, tax, rush and payment fees. Eligibility follows the active U.S. East shipping zone and excludes pickup.
The skid/crate charge applies once per order and is not discounted. The higher shipping tier replaces the lower tier. Exactly $5,000 does not qualify; exactly $10,000 receives 30% off freight. A freight waiver does not waive the skid/crate charge. Checkout shows the complete total before payment.
Panes ships windows, entry doors, sliding patio doors, sealed units, false windows, accessories, and related made-to-order building products within the continental United States.
Where We Ship
We ship throughout the continental United States. Some remote, island, restricted-access, or jobsite-only addresses may require manual review or a custom freight quote. For destinations outside the continental United States, contact us before ordering.
Products Covered
This policy applies to custom windows, entry doors, sliding patio doors, bifold and aluminum door systems, insulated glass units, false windows, accessories, replacement parts, samples, and related products sold by Panes.
Plan Midwest and Northeast delivery
Panes supplies made-to-order windows and doors to Midwest and Northeast projects as part of our continental US delivery service. Confirm freight, site access and the order schedule before booking your installer.
Midwest: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Northeast: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
| Product | Production | Freight transit | Estimated combined time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Custom vinyl windows | 15–20 business days | 5–10 business days | 20–30 business days |
| Entry and sliding patio doors | 20–30 business days | 5–10 business days | 25–40 business days |
These estimates combine production before shipment with freight transit afterward. Confirm when production starts on your approved order. Mixed orders, remote destinations, special access, weather and carrier scheduling can change the delivery date; these are not guaranteed arrival dates.
Price the complete shipment
Enter your products and delivery address in the cart freight estimator. The order size and destination determine the tier. Review any manual freight quote before ordering; a single-product example rate is not a universal delivery charge.
Plan access and handling
Tell Panes about a narrow road, restricted truck access or other delivery constraints. Standard freight is typically curbside; confirm unloading and arrange the people and equipment needed to move large frames and glass safely.
Receive and inspect
Arrange for an adult to receive the shipment. Inspect packaging and products before signing, record visible damage on the delivery receipt, take photographs and contact Panes within 48 hours. Follow the Return Policy for claim details.
Coordinate installation
Share the confirmed shipment schedule with your contractor. Keep the opening measurements and final order specification available, and confirm arrival before committing to removal of existing windows or doors.
How Shipping Costs Are Calculated
Large windows, sliding patio doors, and entry doors are protected and consolidated on a skid or in a crate. Freight is charged at a flat rate for the applicable shipment tier rather than as a separate parcel fee on every item, so combining eligible products in one order usually provides better delivery value. The tier depends on the largest product dimensions, total quantity, product weight and fragility, packaging requirements, delivery location, and current carrier or route rates. Oversized, specialty, mixed-product, or multi-skid orders may require additional freight.
Carts containing freight-eligible windows or doors include a freight estimator before checkout. The rate is confirmed from the complete delivery address during checkout; destinations or orders that cannot be rated online require manual review.
Remote And High-Cost Delivery Areas
Some delivery areas are unusually remote, restricted-access, or costly for carriers to service. Online checkout may show a base or estimated shipping rate that does not fully cover the actual freight cost for those locations. After an order is placed, Panes may review the delivery address, carrier options, and actual shipping cost before accepting the order for fulfillment.
If the actual shipping cost is materially higher than the rate charged at checkout, we may contact you to approve an additional shipping charge, arrange pickup or an alternate delivery option, or decline or cancel the order and refund any payment collected. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate the issue clearly and work with you on a practical solution before taking final action.
Delivery And Inspection
Large and glass-heavy products ship by freight carrier, dedicated route, or Panes-arranged truck. Deliveries are typically curbside. Inspect products and packaging before signing, note visible damage on the carrier receipt, photograph damage, and contact us within 48 hours.
Production And Transit Time
Estimated production is 15–20 business days for custom vinyl windows and 20–30 business days for entry doors and sliding patio doors. Freight transit begins after production and is additional. Confirm your order’s schedule before arranging installation.
As a general guide, transit after shipment is often 5–10 business days for many continental U.S. destinations, but large or remote shipments can take longer.
Production and delivery estimates are not guaranteed; carrier capacity, customs, weather and route scheduling can affect timing.
Pickup Orders
For pickup orders, bring a suitable vehicle, straps, padding, and enough help to load and secure the products safely. Risk of loss transfers when the order is picked up or released to your carrier.
Address Changes And Delivery Issues
Contact us as soon as possible if a shipping address must change. Address corrections, failed delivery attempts, limited-access delivery, storage, redelivery, or carrier accessorial charges may change the final shipping cost.
See our Return Policy for damage and defect claim details.
