Awning Windows for Toronto projects

Plan your Toronto window order with the correct operation, dimensions and glass for each opening. An awning sash is hinged at the top and opens outward from the bottom. It can be specified alone or alongside fixed glazing, with the operating unit identified on the drawing. Panes supplies the products; your own contractor approves final measurements and completes installation.

Each price is for one complete configured window or assembly with the dimensions and options listed. Images are renders of these configurations. Tax, delivery, measuring and installation are separate. Your contractor confirms the final manufacturing sizes and installation method.

Check the outward swing

Allow space beyond the exterior face for the bottom of the sash as it opens. Include projecting trim, paths, planting and other obstructions when deciding the location and opening size.

Keep the controls within reach

The crank and locks need to remain accessible. For a high opening or a unit above a work surface, review the handle position and screen access before ordering. Fixed glazing elsewhere in a combination does not provide ventilation.

Made to order. Production estimates reflect the selected configuration and the factory working calendar. Custom sizes, glass, finishes and special shapes can change the estimate; freight transit is additional.

Confirm delivery access and freight for your Toronto area address before ordering. Coordinate any pickup with the serving location after your order is ready. Arrange measurement and installation with your own contractor.

Plan your Toronto area order

If a Toronto awning will sit above a counter or fixed window, show the crank height and outside sash clearance in your opening photos. Compare the proposed assembly and hardware access before approving the frame sizes.

Confirm the measurements for this style

Confirm frame width and height, orientation, crank reach and outside clearance. For a combination, show both the full assembly and individual sections on the approved drawing.

Review samples in Etobicoke

The Toronto factory and showroom is at 90 Ronson Dr in Etobicoke. Bring your opening schedule and ask about the specific hardware, glass or finish you want to compare. Check current hours and display availability before travelling.

Choose pickup or address-based delivery

Etobicoke is an active pickup location. Select the pickup site with your order and wait for the ready-for-pickup instructions. For delivery, provide the actual postal code, order and receiving details; a listed project area does not establish a freight rate for every address.

Keep the product order separate from site work

Canadian product examples show CAD prices for their stated configurations. Confirm the final sizes with your own installer, then review current production timing, freight and tax. Panes supplies the products; customers arrange measuring, removal, installation and finishing.

Made to order by Panes.

The NFRC directory identifies Panes Window Manufacturing Inc. as the manufacturer. Our published reference tables connect each window family and glass package to its CPD number, so you can compare the window you plan to order.

  1. Define each opening

Record frame width and height, exterior sash clearance, handle finish, glass and installation flange. Check that you can reach the crank and locks in the proposed location.

  2. Review before production

Match every opening to the approved configuration and itemized price. Confirm the whole-window rating for the selected frame and glass combination.

  3. Plan the arrival

Use the current estimated ready dates for your selected configuration; shape, finish, glass and production-calendar closures can affect timing. Freight transit is additional. All new orders are supply-only; arrange measurement and installation with your own contractor and confirm delivery charges and receiving access for your address.

U-factor
Heat transfer through the complete window. Lower values indicate better insulation. U.S. values use Btu/(h·ft²·°F); metric equivalents use W/(m²·K).
SHGC
Solar heat gain coefficient, from 0 to 1. Lower values admit less solar heat.
VT
Visible transmittance, from 0 to 1. Higher values admit more visible light.

These reference configurations have no grilles. Each row preserves the NFRC manufacturer code for its frame, glass and gas combination. Select the matching series and glass package, and confirm the CPD number and label for your order. Different glass, grilles, frame systems and joined assemblies can have different ratings.

For Midwest and Northeast projects, compare heat transfer, winter sunlight and summer exposure together. A lower U-factor indicates less heat transfer. A lower SHGC admits less solar heat; a higher SHGC admits more. VT describes visible light transmission. Orientation, shading and local code affect the choice. NFRC ratings alone do not establish ENERGY STAR eligibility.
