Panes windows are built triple-pane as standard with Cardinal LoE3-366 and i89 coatings plus argon fill, reaching a U-Factor of 0.130. They are ENERGY STAR certified for Canada and listed with Natural Resources Canada, and every certified configuration carries its own NRCan reference number. Frames are multi-chamber heavy-duty vinyl with fusion-welded corners, hardware is Roto of Germany, and units are rated NAFS-22 CW-PG60.
In Ontario the active program is the Home Renovation Savings Program, delivered by Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy, which pays $100 per rough opening on ENERGY STAR certified windows and doors and is funded through November 30, 2026. It requires a home energy assessment before any work starts, and windows must be bundled with at least one other qualifying upgrade. The older Enbridge HER+ and Canada Greener Homes programs are both closed. ENERGY STAR certification for Canada and an NRCan reference number ship with every Panes window, but you book the assessment and file the claim yourself — Panes does not file rebate applications on your behalf.
